Job Description
Under direction, provides assessments, connections, and referrals to persons served who are seeking services from Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH). Manages clinical and administrative records. Coordinates, consults, and collaborates with external agencies to ensure service authorizations remain current. Implements program objectives and initiatives and contributes professional knowledge to team planning and treatment procedures.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Doctorate in Psychology or a directly related mental health field
  • Two (2) years of clinical experience working with children who are seriously emotionally disturbed
  • Must meet qualifications of the Michigan Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP)
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LLMSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited License Professional Counselor (LLPC), Temporary Limited Licensed Psychologist (TLLP), or Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Possession of a valid Michigan driver’s license and operable, insured automobile for authorized travel
