Role Overview

The Therapist will work under general supervision to perform responsible and difficult professional casework and crisis intervention. They will accompany police officers during fieldwork, respond to mental health related 911 calls, and provide psychological evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, referrals, and linkage to resources for consumers who are not arrested.

What You Will Do

The Therapist will screen, assess, diagnose, create treatment plans, and conduct therapeutic intervention with clients. They will also provide interpretation of assessment and diagnosis, ensure understanding of treatment plans, and formulate measurable goals and objectives in accordance with client needs.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field, and at least 2 years of experience working in a mental health setting. They will be licensed as a Professional Counselor, Master Social Worker, Psychologist, or Marriage and Family Therapist, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle stressful situations, and provide a high level of customer service.

Requirements
