Role OverviewSupports licensed rehabilitation therapists in an inpatient rehabilitation setting by assisting with patient care and maintaining a safe, organized therapy environment.
What You Will Do
Transfers, transports, and positions patients, sets up and/or removes equipment or therapy aides for therapists, and communicates patient observations and responses to therapist.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires 1 year therapy technician work experience in hospital or outpatient rehabilitation setting, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CPR AED or BLS course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
