Job Description
The Think Big Intern - Heavy Equipment is a two-year specialized program that alternates between South Georgia Technical College and a sponsoring Yancey Bros. Co. branch. Students will learn to work with diesel, electronics, and hydraulics in the classroom and gain hands-on experience in a real working environment. Upon graduating, students earn an Associate Degree in Applied Technology and have the opportunity to transfer over as a full-time employee.

Requirements

  • Maintain 'B' average in all classes assigned at the college
  • Maintain 'Meets Expectations' in Conduct/Appearance/Work Ethic score
  • Participate in required safety programs and work in a safe manner
