Role OverviewTeaches and facilitates learning for students in grades K-5, working with parents and students to provide and implement classroom education. Maintains academic progress, discipline, and records for students. Collaborates with staff to meet the educational needs of students.
What You Will Do
Provides direct instruction, creates effective lesson plans, administers assessments, maintains discipline, and communicates with parents/guardians. Works with Special Education or ESOL teacher to ensure modifications are implemented in the classroom.

Requirements
- Valid Kansas State teaching license in Elementary Education (K-9) or Elementary Education or (K-6) Elementary Education Unified (K-6) or Early Childhood Unified (K-3 classes only)
- Classroom teaching experience preferred
- Bachelor's Degree required
