Job Description
The Timekeeper position is responsible for monitoring weekly timesheets, creating and approving final timesheets, and reviewing leave balances in accordance with NYC rules and regulations. The role involves data corrections, preparing manual leave adjustments, and filing timekeeping records. Assist employees with timekeeping inquiries and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be permanent in the title or reachable on the civil service list
  • Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • One year of satisfactory clerical experience
  • Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
