Role OverviewThe Tipping Floor Technician is responsible for receiving and processing organic waste at the Anaerobic Digestion facility in Jessup, Maryland. The role involves directing transportation vehicles, inspecting loads, and operating heavy equipment to receive and process liquid and solid organic waste materials. The technician will also perform quality control inspections, collect material samples, and maintain equipment and facilities.
What You Will Do
Direct truck traffic, monitor vehicle login and scale operations, direct off-loading of organic solid wastes, direct and operate the tipping system, perform quality control inspections, collect material samples, load feed hoppers, and safely operate heavy equipment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in operating tractors, front-end loaders, skid-steers, or similar hydraulic equipment, and be able to work independently and manage time efficiently. Familiarity with SCADA or electronic control systems is a plus.

- Competency with technology, entering data onto a screen or tablet
