Assist teacher in conducting intensified learning experience, relieve teacher of non-instructional duties, and maintain a neat and orderly classroom.

Requirements

High School Diploma or USA equivalency
Associate Degree or 48 College credit hours or pass an academic assessment
Valid Texas educational aide certificate
Six months of knowledge and skills acquired through work experience or successful completion of a specific training program for teacher assistants
Demonstrated initiative and a willingness to follow verbal and written instructions
Demonstrated general knowledge of child growth/development and behavior characteristics
