Job Description
Teaching staff are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality educational programs for children ranging from infants through school age. This role involves facilitating age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social and emotional development, and ensuring children are supervised at all times in a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment.

Requirements

  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with learning foundations and children's interests
  • Create, maintain, and enhance intentional, enriched, and supportive learning environments and experiences
  • Build authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, and team members
  • Ensure children's health and safety through proper supervision, positive interactions, and adherence to safety and compliance standards
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver high-quality programs and foster creative, supportive workplaces
  • Demonstrate positive, respectful interactions with children and youth
  • Maintain safe emotional and physical learning environments
  • Ensure punctuality, regular attendance, and active engagement
  • Participate in both indoor and outdoor programming
  • Follow safety guidelines, report concerns, and remain calm during emergency or first-aid situations
