Role OverviewThe Toledo - BWC Fraud Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations and gathering evidence to prove or disprove allegations of fraudulent or criminal activity. The role involves contacting and interviewing or interrogating subjects of investigations and preparing concise, accurate, and detailed investigative reports. The investigator will also assess immediate situations and make split-second decisions while conducting surveillance of dangerous and potentially violent individuals in hazardous areas.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Toledo - BWC Fraud Investigator include contacting and interviewing or interrogating subjects of investigations, preparing investigative reports, assessing situations, and making decisions while conducting surveillance. The investigator will also refer case findings to the Attorney General's office and testify at Industrial Commission hearings and in courts of law.

Requirements
- Completion of associate core program in criminology, criminal justice, or law enforcement
- 18 months of experience in conducting criminal investigations
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a state highway patrol personal background check
