Contribute to delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to customers worldwide. Construct, alter, and repair tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to very close tolerance. Develop strategies for fabricating designed dies using suitable machining resources.
What You Will Do
Assist in designing complex high-speed progressive dies, build dies from conceptional drawings or layouts, schedule and supervise lesser skilled tool makers, diagnose and correct problems in complicated tools and dies, and inspect parts to customer's blueprints.

Requirements
- Completion of a three or four-year apprentice program
- Minimum of four years related experience
- Ability to use shop mathematics, handbook of geometric and trigonometric formulas
- Work from operative sheets, drawings and sketches and use all types of precision measuring instruments
- Thorough knowledge of machine shop practices, principles of mechanics, machine shop operations, and working generalities of material
