Job Description
Tool Room Technician - 2nd Shift: Interact with Crew Supervisor and Manufacturing Specialists to provide needed tooling and direction for the purpose of assisting employees to make product that meets the Customers expectations at levels of productivity that meet or exceed the established plan.

Requirements

  • Operation of the Makino Milling Machines and other tool room equipment as trained
  • Tooling preparations, i.e. breakdown, cleaning and building of tooling to be machined
  • Measure step heights on punches and log data into the tool room step list
  • Maintain punch cut records, compacting tool sign-out sheets and dispense to oven sheets
  • Receive tooling in from vendors; perform inspection of product related tooling as needed
  • Assist with tooling inventory as needed
  • Perform daily / monthly operator PMs
  • Assure production readiness of Tool and Die
