Job Description
Assists in the repair and maintenance of machinery and electromechanical equipment, performs tooling inspection and matching, and develops inventory and polishing programs to ensure tooling is in excellent working condition.

Requirements

  • Completes paperwork as required
  • Develops inventory program to ensure tooling is in excellent working condition
  • Works with tooling vendors to optimize tooling inspection process
  • Remains current with advancements in technology and tooling design
  • Qualifies as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in tooling installation, cleaning, and disassembly
  • Accurately identifies unacceptable tooling prior to use
  • Optimizes cleaning procedures used for tooling
  • Develops polishing program to keep tooling in excellent working condition
  • Determines inspection requirements for tablet and encapsulation tooling
  • Creates and maintains Identification System to track tooling
  • Complies with safety and GMP requirements
