Role OverviewThe TPA Supervisor will assist with post-conviction litigation, including direct appeals, motion responses, and federal writs of habeas corpus. The role involves drafting motion responses, organizing moot court schedules, and providing litigation support to Assistant District Attorneys. The supervisor will also maintain internal resource banks, serve as a liaison to other prosecutor offices, and mentor junior paralegals and interns.
What You Will Do
Draft motion responses, simple appellate briefs, and subpoenas. Organize Appeals Bureau moot court schedule. Provide litigation support to Assistant District Attorneys. Perform legal and legislative history research. Maintain internal resource banks for developing legal issues. Coordinate federal habeas litigation. Mentor and train junior paralegals and interns.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus minimum of one semester of law school or comparable experience as a paralegal
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Proficiency with Westlaw and PACER
- Ability to work independently and effectively under deadlines
