Job Description
Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, this position performs highly complex custodial work to include cleaning/sanitation of state facilities, including historic cabins. Performs custodial duties aligned with historic preservation techniques and assists with visitor services.

Requirements

  • Completion of 8th grade
  • One year experience in general cleaning, housekeeping or custodial work
  • Valid State driver's license
  • Experience working with the public
  • Knowledge of general work site safety
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and methods
  • Knowledge of historic preservation techniques
  • Skill in use of custodial materials and chemicals
  • Skill in use of operating custodial equipment
  • Skill in the use and maintenance of building maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to perform manual labor such as lifting supplies and materials, up to 50 lbs
