Job Description
This position is responsible for planning and implementing natural resource stewardship activities within East Texas State Parks. The position assists with implementing strategies and procedures to protect, restore and/or manage natural resources on Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) State Parks within the Region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Science, Conservation Science, Ecology, Environmental Science or closely related field
  • Two years field experience in Natural Resources Management, Conservation Science or closely related field for NRS II
  • Four years field experience in Natural Resources Management, Conservation Science or closely related field for NRS III
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Non-Commercial Political Pesticide Applicators license issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture to include the Aquatic Application certification
  • National Wildfire Coordinator Group's (NWCG) Fire Fighter Type II certification
