Role OverviewThe Trade Compliance Specialist works as an integral member of the Fortune Brands Innovations Customs team, assisting with day-to-day operations for all Trade Compliance and Customs related activities for the company's global divisions.
What You Will Do
Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation, coordinate with customs brokers, support product classification, maintain customs data, track and monitor import shipments, and participate in post-entry audits.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade
- Skilled understanding of U.S. import regulations and HTSUS
- Knowledge with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and grow within the trade compliance field
- Proficient experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders
- High understanding of free trade agreements, country of origin rules, or duty drawback programs
- Has obtained or in process of obtaining Customs Broker License (CLB), preferred
