Role OverviewThe Trade Compliance Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders across multiple manufacturing facilities to deliver compliant results through the standardization of process. This role requires excellent personal effectiveness, proficiency in planning, organizing, problem solving, initiative, and critical thinking. The individual must have 7+ years of Trade Compliance experience and hands-on experience in manipulating data using MS Excel.
What You Will Do
The Trade Compliance Specialist will act as a primary point of contact and go-to Subject Matter Expert between 18+ sites. Responsibilities include managing relationships with customs brokers, conducting broker audits, processing requests from customers and suppliers, and supporting Free Trade Agreements.

They must have excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. Travel up to 15% is required to visit sister-company sites in North America.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in International Affairs/Trade, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or another related field
- 7+ years Trade Compliance experience
- Hands-on experience in manipulating data using MS Excel
- Customs Broker License or similar certification (preferred)
- Experience in a metal industry or knowledge about steel/aluminum/copper (preferred)
- Ability to speak a second language (preferred)
