Job Description
Join ASRC Federal Field Services as a Trades Helper at the Plum Island Animal Disease Research Center, supporting operations and maintenance functions, and working alongside higher-level tradesmen on a variety of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Operate forklifts, tractors, mowers, light and medium weight trucks
  • General experience in applicable crafts such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and painting
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair & maintenance
  • Ability to become an active member of the PIADC Fire Brigade
  • Ability to climb ladders, reach overhead and lift to 50lbs
  • Ability to work in biocontainment facilities, utility plants, and restricted environments
