Job Description
As a Trades II - HVAC Technician, you will support resort operations by performing basic HVAC tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders. You will troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, install or replace HVAC components, and conduct routine inspections for safety and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Perform projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management
  • Expertly troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on split units, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, refrigeration equipment for food and beverage, appliances, and exhaust fans
  • Install or replace HVAC components such as compressors, coils, refrigerant line sets, and other key parts
  • Conduct routine inspections for safety, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance as directed by management
  • Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site
  • Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications
  • Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort leadership
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools for HVAC work
  • Work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces
  • Identify and report potential hazards on the property
  • Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions to ensure resolutions
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership
