Job Description
AECOM is seeking a well-qualified Traffic or ITS Engineer to support a hybrid role in one of many different offices across the Greater Midwest and Greater Southwest. Responsibilities include traffic analysis, forecasting, safety studies, traffic simulation, and conceptual planning/design.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and 4 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred minimum 5 years of experience with an emphasis in civil engineering fields
  • Registered Professional Engineer or ability to obtain PE license in 6 months
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using Traffic and Traffic Simulation Software and design platforms
  • Ability to work as a member of a team or perform independent work as required
  • Good interpersonal skills, good command of the English language both, verbally and written, the ability to express thoughts clearly, good time management skills, and a good attitude towards work
