Job Description
Supervises and participates with a crew engaged in the operation of street painting equipment. Responsible for painting traffic control lines, markings on street surfaces and the fabrication of traffic control signs. Performs skilled tasks including brush or spray painting and silk-screening of sign blanks; using sign design software to design and fabricate traffic control and other signs; and operating street striping equipment.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school (or G.E.D.)
  • One year of experience in traffic control street painting, traffic control mechanic, sign design and fabrication, or three years of experience as a trades worker performing construction, carpentry, or tool shop work.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid Ohio Class B Commercial Driver's License (C.D.L.)
