Traffic Control Personnel direct and manage traffic around areas such as work zones, busy intersections, and construction sites to ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians.

Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and protocols.
  • Knowledge of applicable traffic laws and regulations.
  • Ability to retain a professional demeanor in emergency situations.
  • Experience working with the public.
  • Must complete training in safe traffic control practices and public contact techniques.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Minimum Application Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
