Role OverviewAs a Traffic Engineering/Planning Intern, you'll gain real-world experience on exciting projects by applying standard planning and engineering processes and procedures in the areas of transportation planning, analysis, and design. You'll work under the guidance and direct supervision of a more senior-level Engineers and Planners to assist with identifying existing and future transportation needs, conducting traffic operational and safety assessments, developing mitigation strategies, and supporting traffic design.
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include working on projects, collecting and evaluating project data, including GIS analysis, Census data, analysis of large datasets, and research. You'll also help write data-backed and compelling plans and studies, presenting your work to project team members and clients.
