Role Overview

The Traffic Manager position oversees the activities and operations of the Streets Division, performing advanced supervisory maintenance and coordinating special events. The role involves motivating and evaluating department staff, providing training and development, and assisting with departmental projects.

The day-to-day responsibilities of a Traffic Manager include coordinating special events, developing departmental projects, communicating with outside agencies, and providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree
  • 5 years of related work experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Current valid class 'B' Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Level II Traffic Signal Technician Certificate
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
