Job Description
Performs various assignments, including material receipt, inspections, storage, and shipping. Performs DOT inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance on fleet trucks and trailers. Requires strong knowledge of diesel systems, brakes, and hydraulics.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in heavy truck and trailer repair
  • Strong understanding of diesel engines, air brake systems, and trailer repair
  • Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and work orders
  • Proficient in the use of diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
  • ASE or equivalent mechanic certification preferred
  • DOT Inspector Certification a plus
