Role OverviewWe are searching for a DOT inspection certified mechanic with experience working on trailers, tanks, or chassis for our N. Charleston, South Carolina location. The employee must be able to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a tank trailer.
What You Will Do
The employee will be responsible for tank service and repair, trailer suspension installation and repair, experience with air brake systems and repairs, and TIG aluminum, stainless, or carbon welding experience (optional).

Requirements
- DOT inspection certified mechanic
- experience working on trailers, tanks, or chassis
- ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a tank trailer
- tank service and repair
- trailer suspension installation and repair
- experience with air brake systems and repairs
- TIG aluminum, stainless, or carbon welding experience (optional)
- ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat)
