Role OverviewAs a Trailer Mechanic, responsibilities include the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of trailers. Work is full-time, Monday to Friday, with various shifts. The job is located at the R+L Carriers Service Center in Burlington Township, NJ.
What You Will Do
Perform safety inspections, repair or replace defective parts, test equipment, and ensure work meets manufacturer's specifications and legislated regulations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate is experienced in performing safety inspections, interpreting technical manuals, and repairing or replacing defective parts. They should be able to lift 50lbs, own their own tools, and be dependable. Experience with Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System, welding, and driving yard tractor/trailers is preferred.
Requirements
- Experienced in performing safety inspections of equipment and preparing safety documents
- Must be able to interpret technical manuals
- Must have experience in repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems
- Experience in testing equipment for proper performance
- Experience in trailer PMs and repairs
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
