Role OverviewJoin CPKC as a Train Conductor, a foundational role in the railway, operating within the framework of the union agreement. The conductor works as a member of a train crew, assisting in switching rail cars, making or splitting up trains in rail yards, or moving rail cars between rail yards. This position requires vigilance about safety and the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
What You Will Do
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as walking up to 6 miles a day, working unscheduled shifts, and working up to 12 hours a day, including days, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays. Coordinate the switching of cars, observe and interpret signals, and relay signals to crew members.

- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or general equivalency
- Valid driver's license
