Role Overview

The Training Administrator provides day-to-day administrative and logistical support for companywide learning and development activities. This position is responsible for setting up, coordinating, and administering instructor-led, virtual, and blended training events through Sargent & Lundy’s Learning Management System (LMS) and coordination with other communication tools.

What You Will Do

Schedule and administer training offerings, process cancellations and rescheduling, maintain accurate course, session, learner, and attendance records in the LMS, and support facilitators and participants before and during training events.

The role requires frequent coordination with Managers, instructors, participants, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that training activities are accurately scheduled, well communicated, and successfully delivered.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • 3 or more years of administrative, training coordination, event coordination, customer service, or related experience
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems; Workday experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple concurrent training events, deadlines, and stakeholder requests
  • Professional, responsive, and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong follow-through and ability to anticipate logistical needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to learn new systems, follow established procedures, and troubleshoot routine issues
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism when handling employee information
