Job Description
The Department of Social Services is seeking a Training Director to lead the development and delivery of training activities to Agency staff. The Director will plan, manage, and direct the development and delivery of training activities, oversee curriculum development, supervise senior trainers, and collaborate with external agencies and vendors.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited college in economics, finance, accounting, business, or public administration
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, management, methods analysis, operations research, personnel or public administration, recruitment, position classification, personnel relations, employee benefits, staff development, labor market research, economic planning, social services program planning/evaluation, or fiscal management
  • 18 months of experience in an executive, managerial, administrative or supervisory capacity
  • Supervision must have included supervising staff performing professional work in the areas described above
