Job Description
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) seeks a Training Officer to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and performance of UI personnel through training, development, and delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, have strong communication and instructional skills, and be passionate about developing others. This role offers a chance to make a tangible impact on both staff performance and claimant experience, while continuing to grow in training development, delivery, and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Plan, schedule, and facilitate training sessions, managing agendas, logistics, and equipment.
  • Assess UI training needs and review policies, procedures, and materials for relevance.
  • Develop and update training curricula, presentations, and eLearning content using Word, Excel, Captivate, PowerPoint, and other tools.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to recommend improvements and gather input for content updates.
  • Collect and analyze participant feedback to refine and enhance training programs.
