Requirements

  • Employee Relations: Drive the Simmons culture of putting people first through training, development, caring for people and guiding our new team members to embrace the Simmons Values.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Facilitate new team member orientation and training with Simmons Values in mind.
  • Develop Training Materials: Develop work tools such as standardized training plans, assessments, data gathering systems, qualification measurements and success rates that ensure team members are successful in their job.
  • Create Work Documents: Ensure work instructions are written using TWI training standards.
  • Coordinate with Continuous Improvement: Work closely with plant Continuous Improvement to ensure the sustainability of lean efforts by helping support team members learn a standard way of conducting their daily job responsibilities.
