Job Description
The Texas Workforce Commission is seeking a Transition Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (TVRC) Trainee - Sr TVRC to join the Vocational Rehabilitation Department. The ideal candidate will perform work using the applicable policy, guidance, and the electronic case management system. The role involves providing quality Transition Services to students with disabilities, developing and maintaining relations with community referral sources, and working collaboratively with students to develop a plan of services designed to achieve their employment goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation
  • No experience required
  • Must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas
