Transfer Station Equipment Operator

The Transfer Station Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of heavy equipment at a transfer station for the purpose of transferring, spreading, covering, loading and compacting waste. This role requires maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring commodities are loaded and stored efficiently, and reporting any potential malfunctions or disruptions. The operator must also follow all required safety policies and procedures.

Daily tasks include operating heavy equipment, loading and transporting commodities, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The operator must also observe and report any potential malfunctions or disruptions of plant activities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• One year prior related experience in heavy equipment operation
• One year of prior experience working at sites regulated by OSHA
