Role OverviewAs a Transit Engineer at HDR, you will help shape the systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You will work on designing resilient highways, iconic bridges, and advancing transit, passenger and freight rail, aviation, federal transportation ports and marine infrastructure.
What You Will Do
You will oversee the work of EITs and Junior Project Engineers, prepare detailed engineering designs for rail projects, and take responsibility for project involvement from site feasibility analysis to final design and through the construction phase.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- 3 years' experience in transportation design - transit projects
- Hands-on experience with Microstation, OpenRail Designer, AutoCAD and Civil3D
- MS Office software experience
- Excellent oral and written communication and project management skills
