Job Description
Role Overview

As a Transit Intern, you will provide project engineering/project delivery support with a focus on transportation projects and public transportation clients throughout the Southern California Region. You will work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transit projects, and provide assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include providing project engineering/project delivery support, working on the detailed design of transit projects, and assisting with the creation and submission of technical reports.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will commit to working approximately 20 hours per week on-site, working alongside and receiving mentorship from a licensed engineer. This position does not offer remote work.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
  • Attention to detail
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills
