Role OverviewThe Transmission Construction Representative will oversee contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms for construction projects related to the owner's electric transmission system. This role will involve ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and design specifications, across a range of projects, from simple upgrades to the construction of new substations.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will ensure contractors adhere to all contract requirements while performing construction on the electric transmission system, monitor the safe completion of work, and manage a wide scope of projects, including substation upgrades and the construction of new substations.

Requirements
- Associate’s degree in construction management or engineering is a plus
- 6+ years of relevant transmission line and substation work experience required
- Experience working in the utility industry is highly preferred
- Compliance management experience is a plus
- Proficient at using a computer, iPad and Microsoft Office products
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must currently be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
