Role OverviewThis entry-level position in transmission line engineering will allow you to apply your knowledge of transmission line engineering to design transmission lines, prepare construction sketches, and perform structural analysis. You will work in a hybrid environment, spending three days a week in the office and two days remotely. The role offers a generous relocation package.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include designing transmission lines in the 69kV to 765kV range, preparing construction sketches, performing structural analysis, and developing cost estimates and schedules. You will also model transmission lines in PLS-CADD, determine right of way requirements, and calculate conductor sags.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Related engineering, internship, or co-op work experience
- Proficiency with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, AutoCAD, PoleForeman, and ArcGIS
- Knowledge of transmission line engineering principles and design techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
