Role OverviewHDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join their growing and nationally ranked team of Power Delivery professionals. The primary duties of a Transmission Line Project Engineer include technical execution of high voltage electrical transmission line projects on schedule, within budget, and meeting HDR and client quality standards. Experience with overhead transmission line design and construction from 69kV thru 500kV is preferred.
What You Will Do
Leads overall technical direction of projects, provides scope and schedule support to the Project Manager, and supports budget development. Must thoroughly understand and implement the HDR Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, processes, and procedures to deliver a world-class quality product to the client.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience using PLS-CADD, structure analysis, project cost estimates, and other engineering documents required for power transmission line projects. National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) knowledge is also preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Previous experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office and standard Power Market Sector design software
