Job Description
The Engineer will analyze Oncor's transmission system using computer simulation to determine the system's performance under both existing and expected future conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • 2+ years of Engineering experience
  • Familiarity with ERCOT Power Market and ERCOT transmission modeling and power flow assessment
  • Experience in Transmission Operations Modeling or the ERCOT Network Model Management Systems (NMMS)
  • Experience in transmission planning and use of power simulator tools
  • Familiarity with the Oncor transmission system
  • Knowledge of independent system operators (ISO) such as ERCOT, PJM, MISO, NEISO, SPP
