Role OverviewAssist substation construction mechanics in construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead lines, bus work, structures, and equipment. Work in substations, generating stations, and other locations.
What You Will Do
Perform duties such as waiting on construction mechanics, handling ropes, digging ditches, operating air compressor and auxiliary equipment, rigging ropes, clearing and cutting brush, and working with substation mechanics.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have experience in manual work, ability to learn equipment operation, and ability to work off ladders and elevated work platforms. Must obtain a commercial driver license and pass sub-station construction training.
