Role Overview

The Transplant Nurse Coordinator plans, directs, and provides specialized nursing care with the primary emphasis on the treatment of individuals who have advanced or end-stage disease and are in need of a transplant.

What You Will Do

Provide comprehensive management of end-stage organ diseases, coordinate the care of living donors and transplant recipients, and educate patients and families about the transplant process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree Nursing
  • 2 or more years acute clinical experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (LRN) - Multi-State - State Board of Nursing
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS or BCLS) - American Heart Association
