Role OverviewThis is an entry-level leadership position in the maintenance section that will help maintain the roads in Runnels County. The individual will coordinate equipment, materials, and personnel for roadway maintenance projects and work closely with the maintenance section supervisor.
What You Will Do
The Transport Maint Crew Chief will lead a crew of transportation maintenance technicians and equipment operators performing skilled transportation maintenance activities. They will assist during accident and emergency weather situations, estimate and gather materials and equipment, inspect roads, and maintain records.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in roadway maintenance related work and a valid driver's license. They will also have a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and an "N" (tanker) endorsement.
