Role OverviewThe Transportation CNA provides resident’s transportation to and from appointments and/or activities in a safe and courteous manner at all times. This role involves complying with facility policies and procedures, reporting allegations of resident abuse/neglect, and maintaining resident confidentiality. The Transportation CNA will also assist residents in wheelchairs, communicate with the Administrator and Nursing Department, and perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do
Key job duties and responsibilities include providing transportation to residents, securing passengers’ wheelchairs, assisting residents in wheelchairs, creating routes for appointments and activities, communicating with the Administrator and Nursing Department, and reporting vehicle repairs and concerns.

Requirements
- CNA license in good standing with the State
- Valid CPR certification
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Must be 21 years of age to drive company vehicles
- Must be over the age of 25 and under the age of 70 to operate a 15-passenger vehicle
- Must have a current CDL to operate a 16+ passenger vehicle
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations
