Role OverviewThe Transportation Construction Inspector is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices, and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work.
What You Will Do
Prepare daily progress reports, maintain progress schedules, check shop drawings and contractors' quotations, keep records of quantities and cost of materials used, and prepare contractors' periodic progress payment claims.
