Role OverviewThe Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, and others in matters related to construction and installation of work. The TCIS prepares daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules.
What You Will Do
The TCIS will ensure compliance with contract documents, check delivered materials, prepare daily reports, and follow instructions. The TCIS may supervise a staff of inspectors.

The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor requires effective oral and written communication, ability to utilize computers, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. The TCIS must be able to work in the United States and have a high school diploma or post-secondary education.
Requirements
- BS Civil Engineering
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction
- NECEPT Bituminous field certification
- ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification
- PennDOT/PTC CDS certification
- ECMS experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification
