Role Overview

The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, and others in matters related to construction and installation of work. The TCIS prepares daily progress reports, maintains progress schedules, and checks shop drawings and contractors' quotations for variations.

What You Will Do

The Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor will ensure compliance with contract documents, check delivered materials, and prepare and submit daily reports of work performed. They will also travel as required and provide a positive attitude to establish competence and pride in the company.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education, and certifications in civil engineering, transportation/highway construction, and concrete field technician. They will also have experience with ECMS and OSHA 10-Hour certification.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
  • BS Civil Engineering
  • NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction
  • NECEPT Bituminous field certification
  • ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification
  • PennDOT/PTC CDS certification
  • ECMS experience
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification
