Role OverviewThe Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor is responsible for consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and methods involved in construction and installation of work. The TCIS prepares daily progress reports and maintains progress schedules.

Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with contract documents, checking delivered materials, preparing and submitting daily reports, and utilizing computers and common office equipment.

Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or post secondary education
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Basic math computations for length, area, and volume
- BS Civil Engineering
- NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction
- NECEPT Bituminous field certification
- ACI/PennDOT Concrete field technician certification
- PennDOT/PTC CDS certification
- ECMS experience
- OSHA 10-Hour certification
