Job Description
Role Overview

The Transportation Construction Manager (TCM) oversees construction inspection staff, consulting with contractors, consultants, engineers, job superintendents, and others in matters related to plans, specifications, materials, equipment, and the methods, practices, and safety precautions involved in construction and installation of the work.

What You Will Do

The TCM ensures compliance with contract documents, prepares daily progress reports, maintains progress schedules, checks contractors' quotations, and keeps records of quantities and cost of materials used.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of Construction Management/Inspection experience, NICET Level IV in Transportation/Highway Construction or PE License in Pennsylvania, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Products & Adobe or BlueBeam.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or post-secondary education
  • 10+ Years of Construction Management/Inspection experience
  • NICET Level IV in Transportation/Highway Construction or PE License in Pennsylvania
  • NECEPT Bituminous field technician certification
  • ACI/PennDOT Asphalt Certification
  • PennDOT Concrete Certification
  • OSHA 10-Hour certification
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products & Adobe or BlueBeam
